Edvanz for Information Technology Industry (“Edvanz”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and applicable international standards.

1. What we collect.

When you interact with edvanz.io or the Edvanz Tutor platform, we may collect:

  • Contact information — name, phone number, email, city — when you submit a waitlist form, contact form, or start a conversation with us
  • Communication content — the messages you send us via forms, email, or WhatsApp
  • Technical information — IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited — collected automatically by our hosting and analytics tools
  • Cookies — as described in our cookie banner

2. How we use it.

  • To respond to your inquiries and deliver services you request
  • To notify you when you’re added to the Edvanz Tutor beta
  • To send relevant updates about Edvanz products (with your consent — you can opt out anytime)
  • To improve our website and services based on usage patterns
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. Who we share it with.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

  • Service providers who help us operate (hosting — Hostinger; email delivery — Brevo; analytics — Google Analytics). They’re bound by data processing agreements.
  • Authorities when required by Egyptian law.

We will never share your contact information with third-party marketers.

4. Where we store it.

Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union (Hostinger’s Frankfurt data centers). Some processing tools may transfer data to other jurisdictions with adequate protection (EU, US with Standard Contractual Clauses).

5. How long we keep it.

  • Contact form submissions: 2 years from submission, then deleted
  • Waitlist entries: until you opt out or until the Edvanz Tutor waitlist closes
  • Analytics data: 14 months (Google Analytics default)
  • Server logs: 90 days

6. Your rights.

Under Egyptian PDP Law §151/2020, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data (right to be forgotten)
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time for consent-based processing
  • Complain to the Egyptian Data Protection Center

7. Cookies.

We use cookies for essential website operation, analytics, and (if you consent) marketing. You can manage cookie preferences via the cookie banner on any page, or by disabling them in your browser.

8. Children.

Edvanz.io is not directed at children under 13. Edvanz Tutor is for private tutors (adults). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to this policy.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via the website or email. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
